Responsible for screening all broadband and internet troubles including answering Broadband Technical Support phone lines. If possible, employee will work with customer to resolve their broadband troubles over the phone. The purpose of this job is to provide first class customer service and first call resolution.

Reports to Tech Support Supervisor.

Hours: Must be available week days and weekends, hours will vary from 7am to midnight.

 

Duties:

Answering Broadband Technical Support phone lines.

Work with customer to resolve cable modem, DSL or computer problems.

Log Broadband Customer troubles in system.

 

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required. Computer Technology degree preferred.

At least one year of customer service/call center/technical support experience a plus.

Must have excellent communication, interpersonal and computer skills.
